Clinic Benefiting Dressage at Devon
Three days of instruction at Dunmovin Farm in West Chester, Pennsylvania, with proceeds supporting the show.
Read the recapSabine is passionate about teaching, and about passing on what she has learned throughout her career.
Sabine’s clinics are open to all breeds of horses and to riders of every level. No two sessions are alike: each one is tailored to the individual horse and rider, meeting them where they are and building from there.
Each session runs 45 to 50 minutes, allowing time for real progress with every horse and rider.
Plus accommodation and travel expenses.
Auditor fees may be directed to the clinic host to help offset event costs.
Sabine is still actively competing, so she keeps her time away from home as short as possible to stay with her horses and her training program.
For this reason, she asks that travel to and from clinic locations be arranged via direct flights.

In 2022, Sabine taught the first-ever dressage masterclass at Dressage at Devon in the USA. Since then, she has taught masterclasses in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa, as well as at EQUITANA Australia in Melbourne and at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida.
Her friendly, approachable style, combined with her passion for the sport and her close attention to detail, makes each session both inspiring and practical. Riders and spectators leave with a clearer understanding of their horses, and with ideas they can put to work right away.
Pennsylvania, USA. The inaugural masterclass in the show’s history.
Melbourne. A four-lesson masterclass and a demonstration ride on Freestyle night.
Ocala, Florida. A full-day masterclass held during the CDI3*.
Johannesburg and Cape Town. Masterclasses bringing international coaching to South African riders.
On an evening in late September, under the lights of the Dixon Oval, Sabine coached six horse-and-rider combinations, from a four-year-old to Grand Prix, in front of a crowd of more than three hundred. Her themes were consistent across every level: genuine engagement from the hind leg, relaxation, and exercises kept simple enough for the horse to understand.
“The stretch must be forward-downward, not downward-forward.”
